People, Etc.

August 9, 2019
By Erin Somers

Sarah Guan has joined Erewhon as editor. She previously worked at Ace, DAW, and Orbit. Martin Cahill joins as marketing and publicity manager. He was previously a literary agent freelancer, publicity and marketing specialist, and fiction writer.

Madison Perdue left Amberjack Publishing on August 6. She was serving as acting marketing director, after joining the company in February as executive assistant. Publishing director Justin Mitson said they will hire a successor soon. In the meantime, Mitson told PL that their “publication timeline could be impacted by this change” and they did “hold our production, so we can re-set our efforts.” He added, “We proactively held everything briefly to make sure we knew where we could have issues…. As it stands now, there will be no significant adjustment in schedule.” The company has partnered with JKS Communications for “ongoing promotion of upcoming titles.” In June, longtime publisher Dayna Anderson resigned and editor Cassandra Farrin also departed.

Forthcoming
Little, Brown has listed Ronan Farrow‘s CATCH AND KILL: Lies, Spies, and a Conspiracy to Protect Predators for publication on October 15.
