August 6, 2024By Katy Hershberger

This week’s fiction releases include new titles by Casey McQuiston, Brad Thor, Sarah Pekkanen, and Gabino Iglesias, while Nancy Pelosi publishes a memoir. August’s children’s releases include books by Ransom Riggs, Ellen Hopkins, and Gary D. Schmidt.

Also publishing this week are Abi Daré’s AND SO I ROAR and Alejandro Puyana’s FREEDOM IS A FEAST, both excerpted in our Buzz Books 2024: Spring/Summer sampler.

We consult a number of sources in compiling our weekly lists and PM members can see our lists for the coming months on Bookshop. Check out August‘s 105 fiction releases, 18 works of nonfiction, and 51 children’s titles; September‘s 70 fiction releases, 35 works of nonfiction, and 20 children’s titles; and October‘s 36 fiction releases, 31 works of nonfiction, and 50 children’s titles

But if you want to make sure your key titles are on our radar, now you can use this form to submit brief details as well: publun.ch/submitNotable. Please submit your notable titles at least 3 months prior to pub date and limit your submissions to selected, notable titles each season only; otherwise it’s too much for us to consider.
