Baker & Taylor Addresses Delay Reports

The online community of librarians has raised concerns recently about Baker & Taylor, reporting months-long delays on delivery of Macmillan and Hachette titles, plus widespread issues with books being back-ordered. Librarians have been speculating about publishers placing the distributor on credit hold, or contracts being renegotiated, and several individuals posted about having to cancel delayed orders. But Baker & Taylor tells PL that no credit holds are in place and no publishers have withdrawn from B&T.
