Knopf Doubleday Group   

Chris Dufault is promoted to the new role of svp, publishing, sales and operations strategy, reporting to Jaci Updike. He adds responsibility for sales strategy for the KDPG lists and will “work with the publishing teams and the channel directors to build programs and initiatives that deliver growth across all formats.”

Director, imprint sales, Knopf Doubleday Annie Schatz will now report to Dufault.

Alexandra Primiani is promoted to publicity director.

Grand Central   

Nicole Luongo has joined as an associate editor. She was previously assistant editor at Park Row.

St. Martin's Publishing Group   

Madeline Houpt has been promoted to editor at the St. Martin’s Publishing Group/Minotaur Books.

Emily Anderson has been promoted to assistant editor at the St. Martin’s Publishing Group.

The New Press   

Mary Beth Jarrad has joined as publisher. Jarrad was previously marketing and sales director at NYU Press.

Candlewick, Holiday House, and Peachtree   

Nicki Walker has joined as associate national accounts manager. She was previously at Quarto.
