Hannah Phillips is joining as executive editor, specializing in nonfiction. She was most recently an editor at St. Martin’s.

Hoopla Digital   

Christina Faubert has joined as senior account manager, digital acquisitions. She was previously at Disney Publishing Worldwide.

Stephen King   

The author is closing three local independent radio stations in Maine that he has owned for years at the end of this year: WZON, WZLO and WKIT. King, 77, said in announcement he is working to “get his business affairs in better order.” He said the stations have lost millions of dollars over the years and were never profitable.

“While radio across the country has been overtaken by giant corporate broadcasting groups, I’ve loved being a local, independent owner all these years.”

University of North Carolina Press   

Molly Koecher has been promoted to chief financial officer.

Susan Garrett, sales director, will January 31, 2025, after 16 years of service at UNC Press.

Liz Orange Lane has been promoted to assistant sales manager.

Brock Schnoke has been promoted to digital marketing manager.

At Longleaf Services, Clinton Bullock has been promoted to senior manager, operations.

Metamorphosis Literary Agency   

Andrea Hall has joined to handle subsidiary rights for children’s literature. She was previously an editor with Beaming Books.
