The company that it’s migratation of sales and distribution from NBN, to Simon & Schuster will occur effective September 1.
Additionally, it is acquiring folding nature guide publisher, Waterford Press, from its co-founder, Jill Kavanaugh, on April 1.
Aspen Literary Festival
The inaugural three-day festival, produced by Aspen Words and presented by Book of the Month on September 26–28, 2025, announced nine headlining authors who will participate: Elin Hilderbrand, Michael Lewis, Kevin Kwan, Leigh Bardugo, Bonnie Garmus, V.E. Schwab, Jasmine Guillory, Nathan Hill, and Victor LaValle. They plan to feature 40 authors in all.
BOTM executive chair John Lippman says in the announcement, “We want the festival to be the literary love child of Sundance and South by Southwest—an event that buzzes with energy, creativity, and fun.” Aspen Words executive director Adrienne Brodeur adds, “We’re setting out to create something fresh, immersive, and wildly fun. Aspen has long been a home for big ideas and creative visionaries. At Aspen Words, we’re bringing that same energy to literature by inviting some of the most exciting voices of our time to our beautiful mountain town at the most perfect time of year.”
