Barnes & Noble Education

Barnes & Noble Eduction announced a new wave of campus partnerships, with more than 20 new campus stores to open across 17 states by August of this year. The schools are a mix of public and private two and four year colleges. They write in a release: “This total is more than double the number added during the same period in each of the prior two years.”

Assouline

The publisher announced The Library Collection, a “new category of elegantly designed objects and home fragrances” including home design objects such as an hourglass, magnifying glass, trinket boxes, backgammon set, and bookends, along with fragrances. The objects were “designed in collaboration with French designer Pierre Favresse, and influenced by the Assouline family’s most cherished items and cultural roots.”

Storehouse Voices

Isabela Alcantara has been promoted to publishing associate.

Dani Francis

Internet sleuths are speculating about the identity of the SILVER ELITE author, guessing that Dani Francis is a pen name for an established NYT-bestselling author.
