Pete Turner has joined as real estate manager.

Sofia Echeverry has been promoted to managing editorial coordinator.

Monica Stanton has joined as senior marketing manager. Previously she was marketing manager at Ten Speed Press and Clarkson Potter.

Cordelia Calvert has joined as publicity director, fiction, managing the GCP fiction team and also overseeing publicity for new Cardinal imprint.    Calvert was a publicity director at Ecco.

Trish Adamik has joined the marketing department as director of creative strategy, reporting to Kristin Fassler.

Jennifer B. Greene has been promoted to executive editor.

Allison Hunter Hill has been promoted to senior editor.

Since four Justices have book deals with Penguin Random House imprints and recused themselves, the court could not form a quorom to hear the appeal of Baker v. Coates, so the previous Court of Appeals verdict in Coates’s favor stands. (Ralph W. Baker had sued Coates and many others, alleging that THE WATER DANCER copied Baker’s book Shock Exchange: How Inner-City Kids From Brooklyn Predicted the Great Recession and the Pain Ahead.
