The chain of warehouse stores will kick off their new book club with Beth Hoffman’s debut novel, SAVING CEECEE HONEYCUTT from Pam Dorman Books, “a spirited Southern tale that explores the indomitable strengths of female relationships as a young girl loses one mother and finds many others in the storybook city of Savannah,” which publishes January 12. The club titles will be “featured prominently at Sam’s Club locations,” which number more than 600 nationwide.

Bill O'Reilly Follows Steve Rubin to Holt
From our Deals page: Fox News host Bill O’Reilly’s new “major book that will surprise people,” about which no further details are being released for another month or two, following his longtime publisher Steve Rubin to Holt, with Gillian Blake editing, for publication in 2011, by Eric Simonoff at William Morris Endeavor. The deal is for one book, though Rubin remarks, “I hope it will be the continuation of a very long and happy relationship” with O’Reilly.

Loveland, CO-based Interweave Press will move their sales and distribution for the US and Canada from IPG to Perseus Distribution as of July 1. Perseus will also handle distribution only to the world market excluding UK, Australia and Europe. Interweave, will publishes about 45 new titles a year, will continue to distribute themselves directly to the craft store market.
