Borders’ liquidation sales were formally approved by the bankruptcy court on Thursday afternoon, with those sales starting today. The stores will accept gift cards until liquidation is completed. Borders Bucks will be honored through July 31 only, and Borders Reward Plus discounts will be granted through August 5, limited to an additional 10 percent off any purchases.
