The disgraced journalist Jonah Lehrer‘s proposal for his next book, tentatively titled THE BOOK OF LOVE, has been signed by Simon & Schuster. Jonathan Karp told the NYT Thursday night “Jonah Lehrer is an unusually talented writer. We believe in second chances.” Karp added to the AP Lehrer’s book would be “a meditation on and exploration of love through different prisms – psychological, scientific, historical, literary.” Ben Loehnen, who will edit the book, added: “We read Jonah Lehrer’s proposal in as unbiased a way as possible.
