Per the article we clipped yesterday, moving at the speed of bureaucracy, on Friday the European Commission published its preliminary finding that the 2003 tax agreement between Luxembourg and Amazon’s European holding company based in that country violates EU treaties. “The Commission is of the opinion that the Amazon ruling [from Luxembourg] does not comply with the arm’s length principle.
