The Barnes & Noble Discover Great Awards went to All the Birds, Singing by Evie Wyld (Knopf) (a Publishers Lunch Buzz Book a year ago prior to publication) and Badluck Way by Bryce Andrews (Atria). Elizabeth McCracken has won The Story Prize for her collection Thunderstruck (Dial Press). The Los Angeles Times announced finalists in 10 categories for their annual book prizes, to be awarded April 18.
