Awards Lisa McInerney‘s debut The Glorious Heresies has won the Women’s Prize for Fiction, with the committee praising the novel’s “freshness and vibrancy,” describing it as “a superbly original, compassionate novel that delivers insights into the very darkest of lives through humour and skilful storytelling.” Tim Duggan Books will publish the novel in the US on August 9.
