Today is the grand opening in Memphis, TN for the space formerly occupied by The Booksellers at Laurelwood, taken over and brought back to life as Novel, with a consortium of 27 local owners. Former employees of the Barnes & Noble in Forest Hills Queens that closed, Holly Nikodem, Vina Castillo and Natalie Noboa, expect to open a 700-square-foot store in September in Kew Gardens, Kew & Willow Books.
