At the last minute Springer Nature cancelled the IPO of shares on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, citing “market conditions” and indicating they might try again at another time. A banker close to the deal told Reuters that many investors had become cautious after the poor performance of a number of European IPOs: “The new issue will have less liquidity.
