The American Library Association presented their annual book awards at their virtual mid-winter meeting. On Monday morning, at the Youth Media Awards, the Newbery medal went to When You Trap a Tiger by Tae Keller, and the Caldecott Medal to We Are Water Protectors illustrated by Michaela Goade and written by Carole Lindstrom.
