Scholastic CEO Dick Robinson Dies at 84

Scholastic’s longtime chairman and ceo Richard Robinson, Jr. died “unexpectedly” on Saturday at 84. The company said he “had been in excellent health and had been overseeing Scholastic’s long-term strategic direction and day-to-day operations for the better part of five decades.” The company says that “under a pre-authorized framework,” lead independent director (and CFO at Lionsgate) James Barge will work with chief strategy officer Iole Lucchese, general counsel Andrew S.
