Philip Spitzer, 82, founder of the eponymous literary agency, died on October 5 in Southampton, NY. His clients included James Lee Burke, Michael Connelly, Alafair Burke, Andre Dubus, Andre Dubus III, Ken Bruen, Simon Van Booy, among many others.
