Obituary: Jerry Pinkney
Caldecott Medal-winning illustrator Jerry Pinkney, 81, died on Wednesday of a brief non-Covid related illness. Distribution: Princeton University Press Partners with Princeton University Art Museum Publishing
Starting February 1, Princeton University Press will be the exclusive distributor for the Princeton University Art Museum’s frontlist and backlist books, and will co-publish select titles. PUP will handle publicity, marketing, and global sales and distribution while the museum will handle editorial, design, and production.
Awards: Governor General’s and Cundhill Finalists
Two big Canadian literary prizes announced their nominees. The Governor General’s awards named English-language nominees in seven categories, including Fiction, where the field includes Rachel Cusk’s SECOND PLACE. Winners will be revealed on November 17. The Cundhill History Prize named their nominees as well (with the winner to be announced December 2.)
