Philomel Books will publish a new picture book, JUST SHINE! HOW TO BE A BETTER YOU, written by Sonia Sotomayor and illustrated by Jacqueline Alcántara on September 9. The publisher writes that the book is “inspired by Sotomayor’s mother Celina’s ability to help people recognize their own brilliance.” Elsewhere, HarperCollins will publish HANSEL AND GRETEL by Stephen King and Maurice Sendak on September 2.
