Gungnir Publishing, which publishes graphic novel and speculative fiction and is run by former Heavy Metal magazine ceo Matt Medney, will be sold and distributed by Macmillan. The company publishes under the imprints Storyteller Media, Asgard Books and Rogue Matter. Publishing entrepreneur and long ago publisher of Barnes & Noble’s publishing division Michael Friedman helped broker the relationship.
