Hachette Livre has partnered with Studio Canal, part of Canal+, to develop Hachette titles for film and television adaptation. The joint venture, known as On Screen, will grant Studio Canal “privileged access to a sustained pipeline of high-potential literary works,” according to a release. “Studio Canal will act as the preferred studio partner, bringing its end-to-end capabilities across creative packaging, financing, production and international distribution.” Hachette’s owner, the Bollore Group, holds a 30 percent stake in Canal+, which it spun out of Vivendi in 2024. “I am thrilled about this partnership with Studio Canal, which marks a new chapter in […]
