Former ceo of French publisher Grasset Olivier Nora will launch an eponymous publishing company, Olivier Nora Editions, Agence France Press and Le Monde report. Nora was fired from Grasset, which is owned by Hachette, in April. Olivier Nora Éditions “will be committed to publishing beloved texts with complete freedom, and with the trust of authors,” according to a release, and plans to release 30 to 50 books per year, formally starting in January 2027.
