McGraw Hill announced results for the first quarter ended June 30, reporting sales up 3 percent to $550 million, higher than expectations. EBITDA was $198 million, up 7 percent, and adjusted EBITDA grew 8 percent to $207 million. Net income of $57.9 million was a big improvement from less than $1 million a year ago.
