Airport retail operator Paradies has taken over two Borders locations at the Detroit Metro Airport on a temporary basis and is bidding to take over two more locations. The two stores already operating are using Paradies’ focused bookselling brand, Heritage Booksellers. The Paradies’ bid for the other two stores is favored “in part because it is willing to rehire all Borders workers,” according to an airport authority memo cited by the Detroit News.
