The National Book Critics Circle announced 31 finalists in six categories for its 2018 awards, along with three award winners. Arte Público Press wins the Ivan Sandrof Lifetime Achievement Award; Tommy Orange’s novel There There wins the John Leonard Prize recognizing an outstanding first book; and Maureen Corrigan receives the Nona Balakian Citation for Excellence in Reviewing.
