The June vote among Duke University Press employees on forming a union resulted in 35 votes in favor and 31 against, with 8 challenged ballots still to be adjudicated. Duke University and the management of the press have petitioned the National Labor Relations Board to invalidate the vote to unionize and convene a new election at an unspecified later date.
