The Booker Prize announced its shortlist, with the winner to be announced on November 26. (The list includes Jonathan Escoffery’s collection of stories, featured in one of our Buzz Books samplers.) He is one of two Americans nominated; along with two Irish writers, one Canadian, and one British writer.
Paul Lynch’s book is not scheduled for release in the US until mid-December, and Sarah Bernstein’s novel — also longlisted for the Giller Prize — is published here by Knopf Canada.
