Mystery novelist G.M. Ford died on December 1, 2021 in San Diego. In 1995 he published his debut Who in Hell is Wanda Fuca?, featuring Seattle private investigator Leo Waterman, which was a finalist for the Anthony and Shamus awards and went on to be a 12-book series. He is also the author of the Frank Corso mysteries and a number of standalone novels.

Harper, Hachette and Bonnier UK to Return to Office
England is ready for people to go back to the workplace. Employees at Harper UK, Hachette UK and Bonnier Books UK will be expected to return to the office, the Bookseller confirms, as the UK has lifted work-from-home guidance put in place during the Omicron surge. Harper and Bonnier employees will be expected to work in the office two or more days per week starting January 24.
