The Publishing Triangle announced finalists in nine categories, with the winners to be named on Wednesday, April 17. Dorothy Allison is the 2024 recipient of the Bill Whitehead Award for Lifetime Achievement. Hilary Zaid is the winner of the Berzon Emerging Writer Award. The Torchbearer Award will be presented to Emily Drabinski, president of the American Library Association. The Michele Karlsberg Leadership Award will be awarded to Kris Kleindienst, owner of Left Bank Books in St. Louis, Missouri.
