Seven years after setting up an enonymous imprint at Putnam, Amy Einhorn is leaving the company at the end of June for another publisher. Her departure was confirmed for us by both Einhorn and Putnam president Ivan Held, to whom she has reported. Amy Einhorn Books started publishing in February 2009 in the most successful way possible — with publication of Kathryn Stockett’s The Help. Nobel Prize-winning novelist Gabriel Garcia Marquez, 87, died at home in Mexico City on Thursday, following complications from pneumonia. Sports Business Journal and The Wrap both obtained financial documents prepared in connection with William Morris Endeavor’s debt offerings, lining up financing for their acquisition of IMG. The transaction is due to close May 1, though the two sources disagree on the actual price (between $2.375 billion and $2.45 billion). The documents provide an interesting look at WME’s operations, as well as its ownership going forward.
