Beginning January 1, Independent Publishers Group (IPG) will distribute Phoenix Books, Stygian Sky Media, and Imagine and Wonder‘s print titles (IPG already handled Imagine and Wonder’s digital distribution). Overcup Press will be distributed by IPG beginning March 1. Kitchen Ink Publishing is now distributed by IPG, as well.

Independent Publishers Group’s Midpoint will distribute Histria Books beginning on July 1, 2022; CS Media on January 1; and CamCat Publishing on June 1. Shanghai Press is now distributed by Midpoint. Oni-Lion Forge Publishing Group will be distributed by IPG Digital starting December 1, 2021.
Another Sale at Follett: Management Leads Buyout of Baker & Taylor
Follet has sold Baker & Taylor to a private investment group, led by president and CEO Aman Kochar. The disposal follows the sale of Follet School Solutions to Francisco Partners at the beginning of September. Follet bought Baker & Taylor and Bookmasters from Castle Harlan in 2016. B&T has slimmed down since that transaction, most notably with their exit from the business of wholesaling books to retailers in 2019. Banipal Publishing will be distributed by TSP starting on November 1; Garnet Publishing on November 15; and Major Street Publishing on January 1, 2022. Editorial Ekeka will be distributed by IPG Spanish starting on December 1, and Antoni Bosch Editor on February 1, 2022.

Starting February 1, Princeton University Press will be the exclusive distributor for the Princeton University Art Museum’s frontlist and backlist books, and will co-publish select titles. PUP will handle publicity, marketing, and global sales and distribution while the museum will handle editorial, design, and production.
