Doubleday announced that they will publish Dan Brown’s ORIGIN in a year, on September 26, 2017. (PRH’s Transworld will publish in the UK, and Vintage Espanol will issue a US Spanish-language edition.) The current description indicates: “Brown interweaves codes, science, religion, history, art and architecture into this new novel. Origin thrusts Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon into the dangerous intersection of humankind’s two most enduring questions, and the earth-shaking discovery that will answer them.” His longtime editor Jason Kaufman will oversee publication, and his longtime agent Heide Lange at Sanford J. Bush on February 28 — the full-color PORTRAITS OF COURAGE: A Commander in Chief’s Tribute to America’s Warriors, presenting 66 portraits and a mural depicting service members and veterans, painted by President Bush. Crown will offer an over-sized edition signed by President Bush priced at $250, and he will read the text of the stories of the paintings’ subjects for the audio version. Zondervan will publish Olympic champion gymnast Simone Biles‘ memoir COURAGE TO SOAR on November 15.
