Maria Shriver’s imprint The Open Field will publish a book by former Illinois Congressman Adam Kinzinger, with Michael D’Antonio, on October 17. Renegade: My Life in Faith, the Military, and Defending America from Trump’s Attack on Democracy examines “the forces that led to the attacks on the Capitol. The publisher writes in a release, “In Renegade, Kinzinger reveals the inner workings and surprising findings of the [January 6th] committee he served and helped lead, including how the bloody attack on the Capitol was indeed foreseeable and even welcomed by President Trump.”

Barbra Streisand’s long-awaited memoir MY NAME IS BARBRA will be published by Viking on November 7. Titled after her 1965 album and television special, the deal was first announced in 2015. Streisand, who is 80, told Jimmy Fallon in 2021 that she had already written more than 800 pages.
