Former PGW president Susan Reich has teamed up with financial advisor and consultant David Lamb to form Book Advisors, “to advise publishers on mergers and acquisitions in addition to providing consulting on strategic planning, digital publishing, distribution, and operational issues.” Reich is based in Oakland, CA and Lamb is in New York. Pam Krauss will join Avery on February 1 in the dual position of vp, publisher, Pam Krauss Books, as well as editor-at-large for Avery, reporting to Megan Newman. On the anniversary of the first big wave of realignments in Penguin’s adult publishing divisions, president Madeline McIntosh announced to staff the next phase.
