Sara Bershtel has joined as editor-at-large. She was previously svp, publisher at Metropolitan Books. Penguin Press president Ann Godoff said, “By any measure Sara Bershtel is one of this era’s most consequential editors and publishers of books that matter, books that last. I speak for everyone when I say that it’s a joy and an honor to welcome her to Penguin Press.”

Riverhead Books   

Han Zhang has joined in the newly created position of editor-at-large, “with the mission of bringing works from the Chinese language for translation and publication in the United States.” Zhang is a journalist on staff at The New Yorker.

Scholastic   

Megan Peace has been promoted to senior editor at Graphix.

Jonah Newman has been promoted to associate editor at Graphix

Grace Layer has been promoted to assistant editor.

Anne-Marie Varga has been promoted to assistant editor.

Julia Elliott has been promoted to editor.

Rose Lepore has been promoted to editor of the New Jersey children’s publisher’s Bless This Press Christian imprint.
