Pauline Hauwel has been appointed as group secretary general, succeeding Pierre Leroy. She is secretary of the board of directors and will report to general management.

Association of American Publishers   

Karen McInnis has been promoted to chief financial officer.

Syreeta Swann has been promoted to chief operating officer.

Nadia Mathis joins as a full-time analyst.

Harper Collins   

Ashley Mihlebach has been promoted to senior director, sales.

Workman Publishing   

Megan Logan joined Workman children’s as editor. She was previously assistant editor at Disney/Marvel Press.

Daniella Graner will join Workman children’s as designer starting January 10. She previously worked in magazines and children’s publishing in Peru, at ICPNA, El Comercio and Cosas.

Chronicle Books   

Ray Gonzales has joined as receptionist/customer service rep.

David Villanueva has joined as staff accountant.

Catapult, Counterpoint, and Soft Skull Press   

Miriam Vance has been promoted to contracts & rights associate and awards coordinator.

Little Bee Books   

Charlie Ilgunas has been promoted to editor.

Jaime Gelman has been promoted to associate editor.

Johnson & Alcock   

Charlotte Seymour has joined as a literary agent. She was at Andrew Nurnberg Associates.

Parallax Press   
Elizabeth McKellar, has been promoted to director of sales, marketing, & new media.
Null Books   

Garrett McGrath has launched Null Books, an agency focused on nonfiction with expertise in illustrated titles. He was previously an editor at Abrams.
