Traci N. Todd will join as publisher. She was most recently children’s publishing director at Workman Publishing, and is the author of Nina: A Story of Nina Simone.

“I resigned from that position in February to focus on my writing,” Todd said. “I hadn’t planned to even think about taking another job until next year, but the opportunity to work at Little Bee Books was too exciting to pass up. The thing that struck me about [CEO and owner of Little Bee Books Shimul Tolia] and the LBB team is their mission to create joyful books that make children feel empowered, affirmed, and seen. Plus, I already had a few Little Bee books on my own shelves—always a good sign!”

Alex Brown is promoted to assistant editor.

Annie Craig has been promoted to managing editor and Allison Green, Iris Chen and Rafael Taveras have each been promoted to assistant managing editor.

Andrea Saggau has been named assistant director, digital operations. Allison Rothstein is promoted to assistant director, digital customer operations. Ayisha Clarke is promoted to senior manager, digital customer operations.
