Brian Heller has left his position as vp, academic, library, wholesale & international on the sales team.

Simon & Schuster   

Megan Hogan has been promoted to editor.

Algonquin Children's   

Shae McDaniel has joined as marketing manager. She was most recently digital marketing assistant manager for Harper Children’s.

Scribner   

Katie Monaghan has been promoted to deputy director of publicity and director of publicity and marketing for Stephen King.

Ashley Gilliam has been promoted to assistant director of marketing.

Clare Maurer has been promoted to senior publicist.

Michelle Chung has been promoted to associate publicist at Scribner and at the Simon & Schuster Speakers Bureau.

Bookouture   

Ellen Gleeson has been promoted to associate publisher.

Jess Whitlum-Cooper will join as associate publisher on January 4, reporting to publishing director Laura Deacon. She was previously at Headline.

Susannah Hamilton will join on November 22 as commissioning editor, reporting to associate publisher Isobel Akenhead. She was formerly at Corvus.

Magic Cat   

Katie Cotton will join in January as publisher of picture books. She was previously group publisher at Quarto.

Greystone Books   

Jen Gauthier has been named publisher, effective January 1. She will report to founding publisher and ceo Rob Sanders.
