The Harper Group   

Katie O’Callaghan has been promoted to senior director of marketing, working on Harper hardcover, Harper Design, and Broadside Books. 

Cent   
Brian Perrin has joined as head of creative partnerships, for a company that provides tools for authors, artists, musicians, photographers, and other creators to earn income using NFTs. Now living in Miami, Perrin was vice president, marketing for Harper Business and Harper Wave.
Workman   

Executive chair and president Carolan Workman retired on September 23, upon the completion of the company’s sale to Hachette.

“Workman Publishing was the greatest gift I could ever wish for,” she said. “It fit me perfectly, never went out of style, lasted forever, and was something that I used and loved and treasured every day. It has never failed to make me happy and proud. Although I will miss it profoundly, I’m confident that Dan Reynolds, Workman’s Senior Vice President and Publisher, and Michael Pietsch, CEO of Hachette Book Group, will be brilliant custodians of Workman’s uniqueness and culture—and increasing success.”

Alison Forner has been promoted to senior art director.

Macmillan Audio   
Dakota Cohen has been promoted to assistant manager of marketing at Macmillan Audio.
Podium   

The audiobook publisher is expanding into ebooks, with Nicole Passage as editorial director. Passage was previously executive managing editor at Open Road.

Applause and Backbeat Books   

Chris Chappell has joined as senior editor. He was previously at Berghahn Books.

Graywolf Press   

Claudia Acevedo-Quiñones has joined as publicist.

Andrews McMeel Universal   

Jeffrey Belle will join the board, starting November 1. He was at Amazon for almost 20 years until leaving earlier this year, where he started and ran Amazon Publishing.

Metamorphosis Literary Agency   

Amy Brewer and Erica Christensen have been promoted to senior agent and subsidiary rights assistant manager.

Jana Hanson and Katie Salvo both move up to senior agent.

Jessica Reino is now senior agent and subsidiary rights assistant.

Kristina Slater has been promoted to agent.

Pluto Press   

Sophie O’Reirdan will join as head of sales in November. She was previously at Compass Independent Publishing Services.

Little Bee Books   

Gwen Cullen has joined as associate production manager. She was previously at Norton.
