Harper Children's   

VP and publisher of eponymous imprint at Harper Children’s Katherine Tegen will retire at the end of the year after founding the imprint in 2003. The imprint’s authors, as well as executive editor Ben Rosenthal and senior editor Mabel Hsu will transition to a to-be-named new imprint.

Elsewhere in the division, Patty Rosati has been promoted to senior director, school & library marketing.

Lisa Calcasola has been promoted to marketing associate.

Benny Sisson has been promoted to marketing coordinator.

Sean Cavanagh has been promoted to production associate.

Theresia Kowara has been promoted to assistant manager, subrights.

Cassidy Miller has been promoted to rights associate.

Harper Group   

Rachel Elinsky has been promoted to senior director, publicity.

Simon & Schuster   

Larry Hughes and Anne Tate Pearce have both been promoted to deputy director of publicity.

Christine Calella has been promoted to senior publicist.

Chonise Bass has been promoted to publicist.

Omesha Edwards and Martha Langford have been promoted to associate publicist.

Simon & Schuster Children's   

Emily Hutton has been promoted to director of sales.

Emily Ritter has been promoted to assistant director of digital marketing (teen).

Nadia Almahdi has been promoted to assistant director of digital marketing (kids).

FaithWords and Worthy Books   

Jenny Baumgartner has joined as an executive editor. Previously, she was a senior acquisitions editor and editorial director at Nelson Books.

Odom Media Management   
Hafsa Zulfiqar has joined as agency manager and agent apprentice. She was previously an intern at Copper Canyon Press and Kneerim & Williams.
