Hodder & Stoughton   

Orion managing director Katie Espiner will take over as CEO of Hodder & Stoughton and Orion on January 1, when Anna Valentine will move up to managing director at Orion. Current CEO Jamie Hodder-Williams will leave in spring 2022 “to develop other publishing projects” after leading the company for over 20 years.

Charlie Campbell Literary Agents   

Sam Edenborough is leaving ILA, where he has been a director and agent, to join Charlie Campbell Literary Agents at the beginning of January as director and co-owner. The agency will be renamed Greyhound Literary Agents and Edenborough will sell translation rights for its authors directly into most territories, and over time plans to develop his own list of authors. Greyhound Literary will also provide translation sub-agenting services for other agencies and publishers.

Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group   

Julianne Clancy has been promoted to the newly created role of marketing director for Pantheon and Schocken.

Daniela Ayuso and Emily Murphy have been promoted to senior marketing managers.

Hannah Engler, Annie Locke, and Erin Merlo have been promoted to marketing managers.

Morgan Fenton and Matthew Sciarappa have been promoted to marketing associates.

Stephanie Levasseur has been promoted to national sales manager for gift and specialty.

PEN America   

Jared Jackson has been promoted to program director, literary programs and emerging voices.

University of Chicago Press   
Stephen Twilley has joined as production editor. He was previously managing editor at online review Public Books.
