Knopf   

Andrew Miller has been promoted to vp, editorial director, nonfiction and will now “take part in all nonfiction acquisitions and publication decisions and strategies.”

Basic Books   

Brian Distelberg has been promoted to vice president, editor in chief.

WME   

Angeline Rodriguez has joined the book department as agent, based in New York. She was most recently associate editor at Orbit.

Phoenix Color   

The sale of the printer to Lakeside Book Company (formerly LSC) has been completed. Lakeside ceo Dave McCree will lead the combined business. Former executive chair of Phoenix Marc Reisch “will support the business through the integration and remain with ALJ.” Phoenix president John Carbone is retiring from the company.

Simon & Schuster Children's   

VP marketing & publicity Lauren Hoffman will leave the company on April 15.

Harper Group   

Emily Graff has joined as senior editor. She was previously at Simon & Schuster.

Harper Children's   

Ciera Burch has been promoted to assistant editor.

Maddy Price has joined Harper Alley as an assistant designer. She was previously a freelance designer working with a number of companies including The New York Times, Pitchfork, and DotDash.

Penguin Random House   

Ebony LaDelle is leaving her position as a brand marketing director on April 15.

Sourcebooks Fire   

Karen Masnica has joined as associate director of marketing & publicity. She was previously senior marketing manager at Simon & Schuster.

Northwest Review   

Natalie Staples has been promoted to poetry editor, succeeding Mike McGriff, who moves to advisory editor.

Nathaniel Nelson has been promoted to assistant poetry editor.

Book Culture   

Devon Dunn becomes vp of buying and Cody Stuart Madsen becomes vp of operations.

Harvard Book Store   

Alex Meriwether will take the new role of chief creative officer, overseeing upcoming renovation projects and a website update, and he will pilot projects “that will enhance Harvard Book Store’s presence in Greater Boston’s literary landscape.”

Rachel Cass will succeed Meriwether as general manager, effective May 1. She first joined the store in 2006.

Brad Lennon will replace Cass as buying and inventory manager.
