Tara Catogge has been hired for the new role of chief operating officer, Insight Editions and Weldon Owen, responsible for all content and product delivery, from title acquisition to manufacturing. Founder and president Raoul Goff said, “I’m thrilled to welcome Tara to our growing team. Her extensive experience in sales and the needs of customers will help us manage critical areas of the business during a time of unprecedented growth.” Catogge has been at Quarto for the last 8 years, most recently as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that, she was svp, inbound supply chain at Levy Home Entertainment/Readerlink.

Simon & Schuster Children's   

Chrissy Noh has been promoted to executive director of marketing, reporting to president and publisher Jon Anderson.

Riverhead   

Bianca Flores has joined as publicity manager.

Flores replaces May Zhee Lim, who will leave on July 1 to pursue her writing career full time.

Mayo Clinic Press   

Dani Valladares joins as managing editor, children’s (acquisitions). She was most recently the editorial lead for Rodale Kids.

Penguin Random House Canada   

Paige Gunning has been promoted to manager, consumer engagement. Colin Jaworski has been promoted to manager, marketing design. Megan MacKenzie joins in the newly created role of junior marketing designer. Hailey LeBlanc joins on contract as project coordinator, marketing design.

Charlotte Nip has been promoted to marketing coordinator in lifestyle marketing,

Terra Page has been promoted to associate director, typesetting and ebook production.

Julia Hartland has been promoted to manager, special projects. Dilara Kurtaran joins as coordinator, special markets. She was previously in the company’s children’s sales department.

Ana Crespo has been promoted to associate agent.
