Natalie Church will join as senior marketing manager on July 12. She was previously marketing manager at Dutton. 

Jim Secula has been promoted to senior marketing designer.

Aly Mostel has been promoted to senior director of marketing.

Paige Sisley has been promoted to literary agent, books and film.

YMU Group in London is launching a YMU Books division starting on July 2, led by Amanda Harris as managing director. Mary Bekhait, ceo of YMU Group, said in the release, “Launching this new division is a huge opportunity for us, and for the talent we represent.”

Jennifer Day, books editor at the Chicago Tribune, with responsibility for tv and film coverage as well (and founder of their Printers Row Journal Sunday books section) has left the newspaper as a part of a buyout by new owners Alden Global Capital, along with twenty-five other journalists.
