Editorial director Jordan Pavlin has been named editor-in-chief, taking one of the titles previously held by the late Sonny Mehta. Knopf editors will continue to report to publisher Reagan Arthur.

Sanaa Ali-Virani has been promoted to assistant editor. Rachel Bass and Kristin Temple have each been promoted to associate editor.

Madison Nankervis has joined as a marketing and social media associate.

Molly Cusick has joined as vp literary, heading up literary licensing and publishing and agency relations. She was at Sourcebooks. Mary Durkan has been hired as acquisitions consultant for the UK and Europe, and Murray Weiss has joined as an acquisitions consultant for North America. Both will “identify potential literary properties for ILP to acquire and invest in.” CEO Scott Hoffman says the hires “allow International Literary Properties to add value to an increasingly large number of literary estates.”

Erica Moriarty has been promoted to marketing manager.

Bryce Lucas will become Seminary Co-op manager; he was previously manager of 57th Street Books. Sonja Coates has been promoted to manager of 57th Street Books; she was previously operations manager of Seminary Co-op Bookstores.
