Véronique Sweet, previously at Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, has joined as an art director.

Malcolm Jamison, previously at Little Bee, has joined as a designer.

Emily Taber will join as executive editor on August 29. Taber was most recently an acquisitions editor at MIT Press.

Nicole Dewey has joined as publishing director, reporting to co-ceos Julie Grau and Cindy Spiegel. She will continue to run her PR firm Dewey Media Group.

Stephan Moore has joined as senior marketing manager. He was previously marketing manager at Pushkin Industries.

Founder and president Bob Matloff has retired and Tim Stookesberry has joined as ceo. Stookesberry was previously director at SUNY Press.

Jason Matloff has joined as associate editor.
