Lourdes López has been promoted to vice president, contracts.

Reggie Hui has joined as senior director, contracts. He was previously senior contracts manager at Norton.

Clare Vaughn has been promoted to associate editor.

Author of Real Life and Filthy Animals and 2022 Story Prize recipient Brandon Taylor will join as acquiring editor, starting August 1 and based in New York. The company says, “Brandon’s sensibilities not only as an author, but as an editor and photographer, will be an immense addition to Unnamed’s continued search for striking new voices.”

Publisher Philip Gwyn Jones will leave the company at the end of August “to pursue other opportunities” after Pan Macmillan reviewed the company “and the leadership required for its future.” Viking UK publisher Mary Mount will take over after 21 years there.
