Katherine Easter has been promoted to acquisitions editor.

Penguin Random House   

Emilia Pisani has been promoted to vice president, director, online marketplace, assuming oversight for the online retail advertising group, in addition to the corporate metadata team. Pooja Karnane becomes senior manager, analytics, metadata, and Savannah Sanocki becomes metadata coordinator.

Berkley   

Angela Kim has been promoted to assistant editor.

Mad Woman Literary Agency   

Danielle Burby is launching Mad Woman Literary Agency, “a new, queer-woman-owned full-service literary agency with a primary focus on children’s fiction and marginalized creators.” Burby was previously with Nelson Literary Agency.

Tin House   

Hanif Abdurraqib has been named editor-at-large. He will acquire three nonfiction books a year, which will begin to publish in 2023.

Macmillan   

Dave Barrett has joined as executive managing editor; Carla Benton as senior production editor; Sam Dauer as associate production editor; Kiffin Steurer as senior production editor; and Layla Yuro as associate production editor.

On the trade production team, Hannah Campbell has been promoted to senior production editor; Lauren Hougen to managing editor; Jessica Katz to senior production editor; Megan Kiddoo to associate director, production editorial; David Lott to senior managing editor; Chrisinda Lynch to associate managing editor; Eric Meyer to senior managing editor; Donna Noetzel to associate director, design; Chris O’Connell to director, production editorial; Melanie Sanders to senior production editor; and Heather Saunders to associate director, design.
